About me
Vance Hudson is a Calibration RLM Development Engineer at General Motors as well as GM Tech Lead for EcoCAR. He joined GM in 2022 through the Technical Rotation and Career Knowledge (TRACK) program, and rotated through Transmission Validation, Transmission Calibration, and Advanced Propulsion Systems Engineering. He exited into Battery Systems Controls, working as an EV Platform Calibration Engineer for the Cadillac CELESTIQ and Chevrolet BrightDrop vehicles before transitioning to focus on virtualization in his current role. Vance is also an EcoCAR alum from the MSU team, working on both the EcoCAR3 Camaro and the EcoCAR Mobility Challenge Blazer. Vance holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University. In his free time, Vance enjoys cooking, motorsports, being outdoors, and exploring all that Michigan has to offer.
